the ones that sent back the same message is a scam, you basically post ads and get people to respond then you have them pay you for materials which only tells them to post ads to work at home and then people pay them so much money to get the same information to tell them to post ads, ect.

If you have to pay upfront costs, forget it, it is a scam. It may be legal but chances are your income is going to be very minimal and they are going to make a profit on selling those training materials. One of the best home-based data entry positions around though is medical transcriptionist. Granted, it requires some schooling, but it would be worth it if you really want to work from home.
