The alumni of the class of 1992 experience a summer full of wild pool parties, hot dates and part-time jobs. But the fun in the sun ends and friendships are tested when the grads get ready to enter the “real world”. Joey spends a heated summer in a deceitful love triangle. Caitlin is not ready to fulfill his desire to lose his virginity, but Tessa is! Meanwhile, Snake thinks his summer job as a lifeguard will provide the perfect opportunity for meeting a beautiful girl and “getting laid”. Wheels, pursuing his own dream, restores a beat-up car, but his ride to freedom leads him to jail when he causes a fatal accident by drinking and driving, leaving friend Lucy in critical condition. The Degrassi gang is splitting up, but Simon and Alexa’s autumn wedding reunites many of the young adults, who realize it’s time to move on.

I don’t know why everyone hates Tessea so much in this movie. Joey was the one who cheated and played both of them. She had no fault in this. He played with Tessea’s heart. Tessea treated Joey better then Catlin had treated him in my opinion. It’s not like Tessea really knew Joey was still with Catlin.

Yes but there is always an alternative to cheating. If you feel like you aren’t being treated right in a relationship then leave instead of cheating. Tessa is so forward! She definitely goes after what she wants!

I think it was …
I think it was wrong for Joey to cheat on Catlin. But Catlin did take him for granted. Like when she left him for Claude who ended un decieving her, then went back to Joey! She also treated him pretty bad during the high school years like she was better then him. After 3 years of dating she told him she only likes him! I guess Joey didn’t feel like he was gettin the attention from Catlin that he needed. Remember, cheating can sometimes by not fufilling ones needs! Not sayin it makes it ok.

You bring up some …
You bring up some good issues, for sure, and some really good points. But I disagree about cheating being reduced if issues relating to virginity are addressed. After all, the average age at which a man looses his virginity is, what, 17 or something? So that would address the problem of 17 year olds cheating, maybe. But what about the men aged 17 and up?
Plus, in many (I would say most) instances, it has nothing to do with virginity. Statistically, it’s middle-aged, married men.

With school, work …
With school, work and family, you probably won’t have the time. Men need to know it is ok not to look like the chiseled men and own a regular car like a mazda or honda (even with no A/C xD) So be happy with staying healthy by doing some weights and jogging regularly.
Note: Girls also cheat.

Cheating will …
Cheating will always exist, but I’m sure it will be reduced if male self esteem issues relating to virginity are addressed. Of course, this is not a new issue or idea, but as usual male issues are ignored. Another issue for men is the muscle body. Just like girls facing the problem of “beauty” , we see pictures of chiseled men and sport stars with super expensive cars men who spent 6 hours a day in the gym.

I’ve read many of the comments. No one has brought up the male issues self esteem conflicts in the movie. Although Joey is an and cheated, you have to remember the pressure society places on male virgins. ale virgin are made fun of by friends and shown as inferior and poked fun at in the media and movies. So there is a lot of pressure for male to have sex. They feel if they don’t have sex they are less of a man. We need to teach our males it is ok to be a virgin.

I did some quick research-so Lawrence Gowan was a part of Styx as well. Pretty cool. While I am not sure I have heard “Moonlight Desires” on the radio before, it has a familiar 80′s sound and is a great tune!

I think it’s Lake Simcoe. They drove a long way from Toronto. I suspect Lake Simcoe. Or it could be the lake near Peterborough, and there’s lots more likes north of them. But since Wheels was kept in a remand centre not far from Joey’s home, I suspect Lake SImcoe, and the accident occurred in York Reg. Mun.
