How to find and apply for part time jobs?

I’m 16 and i want to start applying for part time jobs but I have no idea how to start. Where do I start looking? For places like retail stores or fast food places, do you stand in line and wait to ask for an application?
And during interviews, what kind of clothing are best and how do you present yourself?
Do you need a worker’s permit to work when you’re under 18?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I used to just drive around and stop in and get an application. Just ask an employee where can i get an application

Be there when they open their doors. Don’t come strolling in thru-out the day late like the others.

You shouldn’t need a worker’s permit. Check out retail and fast food. there a good place to establish a work history. As far as dress, look at how the people working there are dressed. Don’t go in over OR underdressed. Good luck!

If you are full-time student, you need to get permit from the school. Usually, you can try your close by offices or Employment offices try to see if they need part-time help. My friend found out a job from Pennysaver’s Ad.

Your can talk to friends, if they need help(part-time).
